​It seems that, even as a child, I loved organizing things. No, I wasn’t a tidy child by nature; my room almost always had that cluttered desk look. Rather, it was my desire to make sense of the world around me, to understand why we're here, and how people fit together. I was always trying to produce an organizational structure that would enable something in life to work better.

 

In later years, I adopted the illustration of each life resembling a 100 piece puzzle. Sometimes each piece fits. Sometimes a piece gets rough around the edges, wrinkled or just out and out stops fitting. Sometimes, a group of pieces will erupt. Careful, love-filled steps need to be taken then. We can recover from the effects of the situations that cause a roughness around our edges, that wrinkle us up, or just out and out stop us from fitting into our lives as we have known them.

Normally, this is the place where I would tell you about how I could help you do that better than anyone else. Instead, I want to say that it’s the guidance that God offers through His words that help us best of all. God's faithful guidance and the principles He shares in the Bible have the greatest impact for good in our day to day living. If we allow it, the Word of God can become our life’s cornerstone, the place where we search for the answers to the challenges we face.​​​

I will mention that using the coaching strategies I've developed help us keep our identities centred in the knowledge of who God is, and who He created us to be. Doing so enables us to discover the limitless possibilities that exist within this knowledge.

Applying God's words to the situations we are facing removes the uncertainty of what we need to do next. It's how we keep peace in our hearts and minds. God's words help us thrive in stressful situations. His words promote healing that lasts. There is trauma recovery in His Biblical Framework. I know this because I am living it.​​​​
